Bernalillo County’s Open Space division is proud to host the TICRAT International Workshop 2024 and partner with the National Park Service (NPS), Mexico’s Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), University of New Mexico, and Cornerstones Community Partnerships to promote earthen architectural knowledge and preservation and highlight the shared heritage between the United States and Mexico. The TICRAT International Workshop 2024 will focus on historic preservation of earthen and adobe architecture and bring leaders and participants from both the US and Mexico together to promote resource stewardship of earthen building techniques as well as international understanding and cooperation.
